Ni hao, Guten Tag, Kalimera, Shalom, Bonjour, Buon giorno, Hola, Hello!

Welcome! My name is Scott Shackelford and I am lucky enough to be the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar sponsored by Southern Indiana's Rotary District 6580 and assigned to the University of Cambridge. A dream come true! I graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington in May 2005 with degrees in Economics and Political Science. This past summer I had the opportunity to work for the Timmy Foundation as a service trip leader to Quito, Ecuador and as an assistant Judicial Clerk for Judge Randy Bridges in Bloomington, Indiana. Both experiences were absolutely incredible. In addition to this travel and work experience I have also studied in the Czech Republic, Spain and the United Kingdom. I view international travel as an essential component of higher education, and plan on incorporating it in my future career. After commencement in July 2006 my goal is to work for a non-governmental organization such as the International Red Cross for a period of time and then enter law school in the United States with the aspiration of becoming a law professor. If you would like to hear me rant on more, please visit the biography page or feel free to send me an email.

Cheers, and check back soon!
